This is Juliana Hatfield and Evan Dando – both are still making music. I cannot listen to them anymore. Instant tears. Courtney and I would sing Blake Babies, Lemonheads, Juliana and Depeche Mode together.

My blog is also Courtney’s* story.

Courtney may have lied to Child Protective Services (CPS) one time, in 1990. If she did lie I forgive her. She was a CSA-victim trying to survive in a house of evil.

Courtney and Mother would routinely fight about the lies about the 1984 child sex abuse (CSA) and the 1990 CPS Investigation. Courtney would yell “I’ll tell!” and Mother would pull Courtney into a private space while they talked about secrets.

At one point, Mother bought Courtney a brand new car to shut her up. That sounds like blackmail. Courtney did what she needed to do to survive. Courtney may have been been involved in illicit activities at the time of the Honda Civic Mitsubishi Eclipse Skirmish with Mother.

This discussion about “the lies” is why our oldest sister Stefanie* should come clean and tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth. She knows. Murph* knows.

Update March 9, 2023: I visited Courtney’s grave

My sister’s grave. There are flowers, white roses and spring colors. I censored her real name and death date with sticks. I brought a few of her favorite things: Starbucks coffee and Marlboro Lights. We smoked one together.

My mother will see this and will go steal the sign.  What if there is an inexpensive trail cam pointed at the grave?  Disturbing a memorial is a misdemeanor in our state.  The last time Mother stole that sign she held onto it and showed people.  Not smart, bragging about a crime.
